About The Doctor

Dr. Donna M. Johnston, DOM, AP, is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Florida College of Integrative Medicine with a Masters of Science Degree in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor Degree in Public Health Services. In 1997 she earned a Doctor of Naturopathy Degree from Trinity College of Natural Health, a college accredited by the American Naturopathic Medical Certification and Accreditation Board. She is also a graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.

Working in the holistic medicine field full time since 1995, she has also achieved the status of Master Herbalist and Certified Natural Health Professional. She is further certified in Homeopathy, Iridology, Kinesiology, Nutrition, Reiki, Yoga, Biological Terrain and Metabolic Balancing for Allergy Elimination.

Being extremely knowledgeable in her field, Dr. Johnston is also a member of the Doctor’s Speakers Bureau, a non-profit organization dedicated to delivering educational workshops on health-related topics in their local communities.

A dedicated health professional, she is constantly furthering her knowledge in alternative medicine through post graduate work at prestigious higher-learning institutions and health care seminars throughout the country. She participates in various health care organizations on the state and national levels.

Her clinic, Healing Alternatives, is dedicated to educating and empowering as many people as possible to become healthy naturally.

Dr Stephanie Kuzicki, DOM, AP, graduated summa cum laude from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine with a Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelors of Science degree in Professional Health Studies. In addition to regular coursework, Dr. Stephanie also studied Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis and the Mandarin language. She is recognized as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by NCCAOM, the national governing board for excellence within the profession.

Lisa Mendoza Beaury, Holistic Clinician, is the newest practitioner to be added to the staff at Healing Alternatives. She's a Licensed Massage Therapist by trade, but her function at Healing Alternatives will be to assist Dr. Johnston, DOM, with all clients receiving Bio-Energetic Feedback, muscle testing, client intakes and blood work or saliva testing. She is available for support and information to all clients.

A client of Dr. Donna Johnston, DOM, since childhood, Lisa has been bought up around natural healing modalities for as long as she can remember. Turning to herbs, homeopathic remedies, and energy work first is a way of life for her. Her first memory of a homeopathic doctor is from a young age when a sibling continually had ear infections and had been prescribed a surgical procedure for tubes in his ears. In an effort to make sure that didn't happen, her mother found a Naturopathic Doctor who used muscle testing and kinesiology to determine that it was simply a food allergy that was causing the earaches. Since then, she and her family have been devoted to looking at health and wellness from a holistic point of view. It's important to remember, just because your ears hurt, doesn't mean the root of the problem is in your ears. A dedicated and passionate believer in natural and energetic healing modalities, Lisa is excited to be a part of the team at Healing Alternatives.

Lisa also has a Bachelors of Science from the University of Florida in Advertising/English and spent many years doing marketing strategy and research. As Healing Alternatives continues to grow and expand, Lisa will head up efforts to reach as many people as possible with the message and mission of this practice.
